An Essential List Of Every Fictional Movie And TV Restaurant![]()
Have you ever heard of the Quality Cafe? While you may be shaking your head right now, I bet you have. How do I know? Because if you've ever seen Training Day, Catch Me If You Can, Se7en, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Old School or Ghost World then you have not only heard of it but watched the likes of Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, and Will Ferrell eat there. But while the Quality Cafe may exist in the real life, not every restaurant that you've seen in a film does. Enter the movie geeks.
The online encyclopedia StateMaster has compiled a list of fake restaurants, coffee shops and taverns in films, television and videogames, from Big Kahuna Burger in Pulp Fiction to The Rusty Barnacle in The Simpsons. The list is not complete (could it ever be?), but the site is a wiki, meaning registered users can edit and add helpful information. This is why the internet is a blessing and a curse. Sure, the wonderful series of tubes shrinks global communication and puts helpful information (such as this wonderful site) at our fingertips, but then there are lists like this that serve no need, but instead occupy our minds with non-essential knowledge. That said, I plan on combing this list for the rest of the day until I can find a fictional restaurant that hasn't been mentioned yet. A good day to you all. |
