Bane Glares In New Image From The Dark Knight Rises
One of the main reasons I was frustrated by the sound problems with the prologue for The Dark Knight Rises was that I found it hard to believe that Bane (Tom Hardy) wouldn't put some kind of speaker system in his mask so that his followers could understand him. Each time we're seen images of Bane I even noticed that the space over his mouth has a mesh covering that looked like an amplifier. Now a new image of the supervillain has arrived online and you can see it clear as day.
The image was posted over at Total Film where they have a 1000x1503 pixels version. Scope out the image below and head over there to see it full size.
Of course, the most important bit about Bane's voice is that it appears to be fixed. When I saw footage from the movie at CinemaCon last month I could understand every syllable that the antagonist said and the same can be said for the new trailer that arrived online last week. I guess Bane may have a microphone and speaker in there after all.
The Dark Knight Rises, directed by Christopher Nolan, stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Juno Temple and Josh Pence. It arrives in theaters on July 20th and you can see more from the movie in our Blend Film Database.
