Charlize Theron Curses Up A Storm In New Young Adult Red Band TV Spot

discussioncomments published: 2011-11-29 11:17:39 Author: Eric Eisenberg
There really isn't much point in a red band TV spot. If you utter a single curse word in any kind of trailer it will immediately be rejected by every single network, including those on cable. In fact, the only channels that would play expletive-laced previews are subscription services like HBO, Showtime or Cinemax, but guess what? None of those stations play commercials. Hence why the newest preview for Jason Reitman's Young Adult should probably be labeled as a clip instead of a TV spot, but why argue semantics?

Check out the new preview below, courtesy of Trailer Addict.

Young Adult, which reteams Oscar winner Diablo Cody with Reitman for the first time as a writer/director pair, stars Charlize Theron as Mavis, a novelist who returns to her childhood home after her divorce and decides to try and win back her high school sweetheart, despite the fact that he's already married. The film co-stars Patrick Wilson, Patton Oswalt, Elizabeth Reaser, J.K. Simmons, and Collette Wolfe. The film is scheduled to be released on December 16th and to learn more about the movie be sure to head over to our Blend Film Database.
