Production on the comedy begins mid-July, and will shoot around New York City. Turtletaub, who reportedly will direct, received an Oscar nomination for producing the razor-sharp ensemble comedy Little Miss Sunshine. He also scored producer credits on the underrated Away We Go and the upcoming Our Idiot Brother with Paul Rudd. If he can bring some of the same comedic sensibilities to Gods, it won’t perform Badly at all.
