Last month Christopher Nolan made fanboys around the world start salivating when he told a magazine that he would one day be interested in directing a James Bond film. Of course, he couched the statement by saying that he would be waiting for the "right situation and the right time in their cycle of things," but the comment was enough to make the heads of both Nolan and 007 fans spin. What would that look like? YouTube user Mr88668866 has put together a fake trailer to try to figure that out.
Watching the trailer it seems that this the dream cast would feature Michael Fassbender as Bond, Leonardo DiCaprio as the villain, and a supporting cast that includes Liam Neeson, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, and Gina Carano. Can't say that I would complain about that line-up. The trailer has a bit too much of an Inception feel to it - mostly due to the music - and the editing is a bit spotty at times, but overall it's not too shabby. Obviously the spot takes footage from Nolan movies like Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises and Inception, but can you name all of the non-Nolan films included? (Hint: Michael Fassbender has never starred in a Nolan movie). See how many you can name and then check out the full list below: Batman Begins (2005) How many did you get? Back to top
