Fast And Furious 6 Super Bowl Trailer Brings Down An Airplane In Flames
The Fast and Furious franchise is all about unlikely friendships, and now it looks like we'll be getting a new one in Fast and Furious 6, with Dwayne Johnson's character reaching out to his former enemy, Vin Diesel's Dom Torretto. Naturally, a lot of car chases and mayhem ensues. Get your first look at it all in the first-ever trailer for Fast and Furious 6, which debuted during the Super Bowl.
I admit it: I laughed with glee when that car drove out of the front of the airplane. I have no idea how that's possible-- and I strongly suspect it's not--but it's exactly the kind of madness we've come to expect from the Fast franchise. And while Michelle Rodriguez's return as Letty isn't exactly a surprise, since it was teased at the end of Fast Five, it's good to see her have such a badass comeback, gun in hand.
Fast and Furious 6 is coming to theaters on May 24, with director Justin Lin returning along with most of the key members of the cast. Check out the official synopsis below, and for everything else we know about it, click here.
