First Shots Of Chris Evans And Hayley Atwell On The Captain America Set

There have been plenty of videos and images of the Captain America set floating around the internet. Currently filming in Manchester, England, the photos have shown off how the designers have transported city blocks back to the 1940s. It's all pretty cool to look at, but they've been missing one thing: the actors. Even when a fully-costumed Cap was spotted on set, it was simply a stunt driver. Is it a matter of bad photography or clever set security? If it's the latter, they've finally slipped up.

INF Daily and Captain America Filming Manchester have posted the first pics of the film's stars - Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell. Though they were caught in separate locations and the latter is seen from far away, the images do have some interesting bits. Evans, for instance, is wearing flesh-colored boots, presumably to protect the actor's feet during a barefoot chase sequence. As for Atwell, who plays love interest Peggy Carter in the film, she's bravely shooting at an escaping Packard as a gun appears in the passenger side window.
