Between James Marsh's Project Nim earning rave reviews at this year's Sundance Film Festival, Warner Bros/Imax's Born To Be Wild being released a few weeks ago, and Rise of the Planet of the Apes coming this summer, it would seem that the movie industry has be come fascinated with apes. And why not? They are the animals closest to humans genetically and they are absolutely adorable. Case in point, the first trailer for Chimpanzee.

Though the movie won't be released until next year, Disneynature has sent out the first look at the documentary, which centers on a chimp named Oscar in the Ivory Coast and Ugandan rain forests. Abandoned by his family, another adult chimp takes Oscar under his wing and raises him as his own.
