If you're like me, you're still trying to recover from the trailer for the Coen brother's True Grit that premiered a few weeks back. Everything about it looks stunning, from Roger Deakins' cinematography to our first look at the young Hailee Steinfeld. Come December, we may see one of the most rare occurrences in the world: a truly great remake. But because Christmas is still about two months away, we have some new photos to tide you over.

USA Today has posted five new stills from the film showing off not only Steinfeld's Mattie Ross but also Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn and Matt Damon as Texas Ranger LaBoeuf. Just like they did with No Country For Old Men, it appears that the Coens are trying their damnedest to bring back the western and I couldn't have more faith in them.
