Long movie run-times can be both a blessing and a curse. For starters, they can have direct impact on the box office because theaters can't have as many screenings and if left in incapable hands, a two and a half hour movie can feel like an eternity. The positive side, however, is that no matter how many advertisements come out, it's hard to spoil the film. Take, for example, David Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. While most films can't help but ruin the movie with a two minute trailer, Fincher's version of the Steig Larsson book had an eight-minute trailer that only gave away basic plot information. Now we have a new TV spot and while it's visually stunning and cool, it doesn't ruin anything.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo stars Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist, a disgraced journalist who has lost his life savings in a libel case. While trying to sort out his life, he gets a message from a wealthy industrialist (Christopher Plummer) who wants to hire him to solve a 40 year old murder case. Enlisting the help of an anti-social hacker named Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara), Mikael begins his investigation and discovers that the secret behind the murder is more terrifying than he could have imagined.
