Giveaway: Win A DVD Copy Of Limitless
Limitless is one of those moves that seemed to fly totally under the radar until pretty much the week of release, a problem attested to by the fact that I kept mixing it up with The Lincoln Lawyer. Once I actually learned the premise and began hearing some positive reactions, my antennae perked up. With a RottenTomatoes rating of 70% fresh and rising star Bradley Cooper in the lead, this science fiction thriller will likely find a bigger audience on DVD. And the only thing better than discovering a gem on DVD is discovering it for free. Cinema Blend is here to help, because we're giving away three DVD copies of Limitless, courtesy of the fine folks at Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment!
In Limitless, Cooper is a burnt-out writer named Eddie who discovers a quick and easy path to renewed creativity courtesy of an experimental new pill that "unlocks 100% of his brain's capacity." This doesn't mean he just becomes more prolific, but he's suddenly unlocking whole new talents that bring his money, success, and ladies (that last part may have something to do with the fact that he already looked like Bradley Cooper). Naturally, anything that seems to be too good to be true probably is, and Eddie is soon plagued by both the pill's side effects and a ruthless business man (Robert De Niro).
