The insanely cool, new Inception trailer which debuted in theaters this weekend and subsequently showed up online in a low-res format, is now available in high-res. Since it’s Inception, you really, really need to see it in high-res.

Now that the movie’s official plot synopsis is out of the bag, they’re free to leak some of the story in the trailer and in doing so they’ve taken the whole thing to a completely new level of incredible. The trailer starts with DiCaprio talking about creating dreams and using them to steal people’s secrets. At one point, I’m pretty sure I saw something in that trailer that looked a lot like one of Star Trek’s holodecks, but mostly the movie looks more like Dark City than ever. Since Dark City is one of the best science fiction movies ever made, that’s a very good thing.
