Josh Brolin Gets Behind the Wheel In New Sin City: A Dame To Kill For Image
It's still somewhat hard to believe, but Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is actually happening. We have been hearing promises for a sequel since the first movie arrived in theaters back in 2005, but due to scheduling conflicts and other projects that have caught Rodriguez's attention (he has released five movies since then) the movie was constantly thrown on to the back burner.
But now all of that is quickly changing. The film is right in the middle of production down in Austin, Dimension Films has announced that they will release the film on October 4th, and amazing actors like Josh Brolin, Eva Green, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert, Christopher Meloni, Ray Liotta, and Juno Temple have all been thrown into the high-contrast world. What we have today, however, is bigger than anything we've gotten before: an official still.
Rodriguez has taken to his Twitter account to post the first ever look at Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, featuring Brolin as Dwight McCarthy. He started by releasing this behind-the-scenes image, featuring the actor and the director on all all green screen set with the message "Here's bad ass Josh Brolin driving a Rodriguez-mobile"
And followed it up with a more finished version, saying "And here's a quick photo touch up I do to set a tone for the actors. (Probably won't be raining in final movie)"
With any luck this is just the tip of the iceberg and we'll see even more photos from the Sin City set soon. Because who doesn't want to get a glimpse at Eva Green as the femme fatale Ava Lord?
