Kevin Smith is well known for sharing thoughts and opinions on his work and life with his many devoted fans. He’ll be doing just that in Kevin Smith: Live From Behind Featuring “Jay and Silent Bob Get Old,” a nationwide event that's set to be broadcast to theaters all over the country next February



Live From Behind will feature Kevin Smith and his long-time friend Jason Mewes as they host their podcast “Jay and Silent Bob Get Old,” after which they’ll answer questions from the fans across the country. Thanks to NCM Fathom and AK27 Productions, even if you aren’t able to get to the Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto to see the show live, the three-hour event will be broadcast live to over three hundred theaters across the country. Fans will have the opportunity to submit questions through social media networks.

Aside from the podcast, the event itself sounds a little like what Smith did about a decade ago for An Evening with Kevin Smith, which was part comedy, part Smith interacting with some of his fans as he visited various colleges. Except in this case, it’s one night only and he’s reaching out to fans all over the country all at once. Ah, the marvels of modern technology.
