Kristin Davis Will Be The Rock's Girlfriend In Journey 2: The Mysterious Island

The idea of putting the star of Sex and the City in the same movie as a former WWF wrestler is quite strange. There likely isn't a person on Earth that is a fan of both "genres," but they're being put together anyway. Deadline reports that Kristin Davis has been cast in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, in which she will play the mother of Josh Hutcherson's character and the love interest for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The movie has already begun filming in Hawaii.

Davis stands at 5'6" tall. Johnson, on the other hand, is a towering 6'4". Not only am I confused about the logistics of this relationship (does The Rock have to kneel in order to kiss her?), but I'm betting that director Brad Peyton is going to have one hell of a time trying to keep them in frame together,
