Lenny Kravitz And Woody Harrelson Pose In New Hunger Games: Catching Fire Portraits
Those familiar with the world of The Hunger Games know that the people living in the Capitol, the richest area in all of Panem, love to dress up in ridiculous costumes. As seen in Gary Ross' blockbuster last summer, the characters love to dress up in bright, garish clothing that would seem severely abnormal in today's society.
When you put that much work into your appearance, you want it to be documented, hence the line of Official Capitol Portraits that Lionsgate has been releasing in early promotion of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire later this year. Yesterday brought us our first look at Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks) and Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci), but today we have two characters who align themselves much closer to the heroes Katniss and Peeta.
First up, thanks to People Magazine, we have a portrait of Cinna, Katniss' stylist who is played by Lenny Kravitz.
And now we come to IGN's contribution to the series with a picture of Woody Harrelson's Haymitch, Katniss and Peeta's alcoholic adviser and former Hunger Games winner.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which is now in post-production, is being directed by Francis Lawrence and in addition to the actors mentioned above also brings back Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Toby Jones and Donald Sutherland. Philip Seymour Hoffman, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone and Jeffrey Wright will be joining the sci-fi world in the sequel as well. Lionsgate will release the film on November 22 and for all the latest updates about the movie head over to our Blend Film Database.
