You probably don't know who Madchen Amick is if you weren't a fan of the early 90s TV series Twin Peaks, in which Amick played the abused and scheming waitress Shelly. But if you did watch that show-- and if you haven't, you really should-- you can rejoice! Amick has joined the cast of Priest, the post-apocalyptic thriller based on the Korean comic book, according to Variety.

And Amick isn't the only casting news for the film today-- the film's director Scott Stewart announced on his Twitter feed that Christopher Plummer and Brad Dourif have joined the cast as well. No word on the roles any of the three will be playing, but given that the movie is based on a sprawling graphic novel series that involves all kinds of mythology and action, there are plenty of roles to go around.
