Randy Couture Boards Revenge Flick With Bruce Willis

Wrestlers, fighters and boxers may not always make the best actors, but as action movie henchmen go, there’s really no one better. They’re very familiar with hand to hand combat, they’re usually great at making menacing faces and you know if a stunt goes awry, they know how to take a punch. If they can deliver a few lines properly, that’s just an added bonus. Randy Couture made the most out of his lines in The Expendables, as well as his time on The Unit, and in doing so, earned himself another shot.

Yes, the Natural will be back for the sequel to The Expendables, but according to THR, he’s also attracted the interest of another production. Casting has been well under way for awhile now on Mike Gunther’s Set Up. with Ryan Philippe, Bruce Willis and 50 Cent having already boarded, but now they’re going to have to contend with Randy Couture. The former UFC Champion will play an enforcer hired by Willis to oversee 50 Cent’s character.

The basic plot follows a collection of two bit criminals out for revenge. Filming is yet to begin, but based on limited information, I’m thinking this will be worth a theater viewing.
