Santiago Segura, Spain's Biggest Comedian, Join Sandler's Jack And Jill

How much weirder can the cast for Adam Sandler's comedy Jack and Jill get? It already features Sandler playing two roles, as a man and the man's annoying twin sister, plus Katie Holmes as his wife and Al Pacino playing… himself? Now the Los Angeles Times is reporting that not only are Shaquille O'Neal and Regis Philbin set for cameos, but one of Spain's most famous comedians, Santiago Segura, has signed on as well.

Not only that, but Segura will be playing the boyfriend of Sandler's Jill character, who was unveiled in set photos about a month ago. Yeah, it's not a pretty picture, but I suppose Segura is a good comedian who will do just about anything for a laugh. It's always strange to see comedy translate across national boundaries-- even British comedies sometimes don't hit over here-- so hopefully Segura won't have too much trouble getting into the groove. I mean, no more trouble than any sane human would have seducing Adam Sandler in drag, that is.
