Quentin Tarantino has been talking for more than a year about his desire to make his next movie a spaghetti western. He’s calling it "a Southern", and though that sounds like a very Quentin Tarantino thing to do, if you’ve followed Tarantino over the years then you know that he talks about a lot of things that he never actually gets around to doing. This idea, he’s actually doing.

The latest on the project comes from his Kill Bill muse Uma Thurman, who tells Hollywood Outbreak she knows what Quentin is up to. According to her, not only is the "Southern" really happening, but the script is finished and Tarantino is ready to start work.

How would Thurman know what he’s doing? Well one of the other things Tarantino has been promising lately is another Kill Bill movie, which would of course, require the services of The Bride. Because of that, Uma seems to be keeping up with him and says of his impending slave-era Western, “It's another new story and a fresh piece of material that he is channeling at the moment. So I think Kill Bill lives down the road.”
