Jay Baruchel was one of the most underrated things about Tropic Thunder, and this year he’s having his coming out party by starring in a whole slew of high-profile films like The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and How to Train Your Dragon. But after watching the movie’s first trailer, the one I’m most looking forward to is She’s Out of My League.

Odds are if you’re reading this website, you are that guy (The Mavericks of the world are too busy playing erotic, all-male volleyball to read a movie blog). The dufusy, nice, well-meaning dude who, while not a total failure at life is probably never, never going to date a perfect ten. In She’s Out of My League, that guy is played by Jay Baruchel and one day he’s inexplicably asked out by that girl. He can’t understand it, his friends are shocked by it, awkward hilarity ensues.
