Something Borrowed Trailer: Kate Hudson Steals Ginnifer Goodwin's Man

I root for Ginnifer Goodwin. She’s the most underrated part of TV’s Big Love and she’s consistently good in almost everything she shows up in, even if she’s showing up in something as terrible as He’s Just Not That Into You. I’ll even be rooting for her in Something Borrowed, which is a Kate Hudson movie, and thus can be immediately dismissed as being terrible.

For that matter there’s probably no point in watching the movie’s trailer. It’s a Kate Hudson movie which means catty bitches fighting about weddings or trying to ruin each other’s relationships. That’s what she does, and it might be ok, except she doesn’t seem to do it well. Here’s the trailer for Something Borrowed, here newest travesty, in which she’ll drag Ginnifer Goodwin and John Krasinski down with her.

There's no point in watching it, but just in case you disagree and have actually found something of value somewhere in Kate's career, we're bringing the Something Borrowed trailer to you anyway. You're welcome, I think. Watch:

I’m not sure about the wisdom of ending your trailer with the line “you broke my nose”. As a final thought to leave your wide-eyed, rom-com audience with, visions of imagined bodily injury probably aren’t the way to go. Normally don’t you want to end your trailer on a high note? A cool cliffhanger? A sharp line of dialogue? A perfect, romantic moment? I’m left to assume that when it comes to Something Borrowed, there simply aren’t any. It is a Kate Hudson movie after all.
