Hollywood just can’t get enough of restricting women’s breathing, and big name actresses are more than happy to line up for their turn in a corset. It used to be the way for women to win an Oscar was to make yourself ugly, these days it’s voluntary suffocation in a boorish period drama.
The Other Boleyn Girl may well be as boring as all the other corset crap, but it sure is going to be pretty… and not just because it has Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman.
