Texas Chainsaw 3D Gets A New Poster For New York Comic Con
You may see the letters "NYCC" a lot this week if you're browsing around news from the movie world, and that's because New York Comic Con is in full swing and will be through Sunday. While not nearly as big as San Diego Comic Con in July, there is typically at least some good stuff that comes out of the event for movie fans. And the latest one is a new poster for the upcoming horror film Texas Chainsaw 3D.
The new artwork has been revealed by FearNet and if you're in New York there's a possible bonus for you. On October 12th - this Friday - star Alexandra Daddario will be signing the copies of the poster. Check it out below!
A remake of the classic Tobe Hooper film from 1974, the new movie follows a young woman named Heather (Alexandra Daddario) as she travels down with a group of friends to Texas so that she can collect an inheritance. Unfortunately, one of the people there to greet her is Leatherface - a psychotic, chainsaw wielding maniac who won't stop until he's killed Heather and her pals. The supporting cast includes actors such as Scott Eastwood, Tania Raymonde, Bill Moseley and Dan Yeager. John Luessenhop (Takers) directed the new version of the classic story written by Adam Marcus, Debra Sullivan, Stephen Susco and Kirsten Elms. Texas Chainsaw 3D will be getting a theatrical release early next year - on January 4th to be exact - and our Blend Film Database has a whole lot more from the movie including the first trailer.
