Transformers 4 Reveals Another New Vehicle
Michael Bay has been slowly but surely teasing glimpses of the pre-transformed Transformers 4 automobiles for our viewing pleasure. Car enthusiasts and Transformers fans alike were given the opportunity to look at Bumblebee (a highly-modified vintage 1967 Camaro SS), Optimus Prime covered in flames, and two of the new characters (a Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse and a C7 Corvette Stingray). And today Bay has given us another new look.
The car above is a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Coupe. The photo was posted on Michael Bay's website. Pretty sleek! Bay doesn't say which character this Lamborghini represents, but this one joins the other cars set to appear in the anticipated Transformers 4. A couple commenters at the site speculate that it might be a redesigned version of Sideswipe, who was portrayed as a Chevrolet Stingray Concept previously.
For those who want to drool over this car photo properly, you can check out the high-res version of it here.
We still have more than a year to go before Transformers 4 arrives in theaters. The Paramount film is scheduled for a June 27, 2014 release. The cast includes Mark Wahlberg, Li Bingbing, comedian TJ Miller, Underworld's Sophia Myles, the excellent Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer as the main (human) villain. The cast alone is shaping up to be pretty fantastic. And then, of course, there are the cars, which - to state the obvious - play a pretty substantial role in these films.
In case you haven't seen it, another previously released vehicle for Transformers 4 is the rugged-looking Hound, "one of the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles from Oshkosh Defense." This one looks ready to tear up the desert. (Click for high res!)
