Twilight And Dark Knight Rises Actresses Join James Wan's The Warren Files![]()
James Wan's next horror film is still in pre-production, yet it has already managed to go through two titles. First the project was known as The Conjuring, with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga attached, and then, when Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor signed on, it was changed to The Untitled Warren Files Project (albeit not an official title, but still a name that the movie went by). Now the film has added another pair of actors and has landed on its third title.
According to Variety, The Untitled Warren Files Project will henceforth be known as simply The Warren Files and has added young actors Mackenzie Foy and Joey King to its cast list. Though she is only 12 years old, Foy is already recognized by millions because she plays Renesmee, the daughter of Edward and Bella, in the Twilight franchise, while King is best known for her role in 2010's Ramona and Beezus. King is also in a pair of upcoming high-profile movies, including Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises and Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great And Powerful. The film, which is based on a true story, is about the Perron family, who, during the 1970s, claimed that they lived among the dead. Though the trade doesn't say it explicitly, one can assume that King and Foy will be playing the daughters in the Perron family, with Livingston and Taylor playing the parents. Wilson, who previously worked with Wan on Insidious, and Farmiga will be playing investigators looking into the Perrons' claims. Chad and Carey Hayes wrote the script and production is scheduled to begin later this month on location in North Carolina. |
