The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal Joins Snitch
One of the most interesting and talked about subjects with regards to the second season of AMCís The Walking Dead is whatís going on with Shane. Jon Bernthalís character took a dark and interesting turn a couple episodes back. While we donít quite know where this is going for his character, things are a bit clearer for Jon Bernthalís career. The actor has been cast alongside Susan Sarandon and Dwayne Johnson in the upcoming Ric Roman Waugh directed Snitch.
Summitís Snitch is described as an action-drama, which follows Dwayne Johnsonís character as a construction company owner who tries to get his sonís prison sentence shortened by becoming a DEA snitch. According to Deadline, Bernthalís character is an ex-con laborer working at the construction company who helps connect his boss to an underground drug dealer. From Deadlineís use of the word ďforce,Ē it doesnít sound like Bernthalís characterís all that eager to get involved in the situation.
Prior to what can probably be considered his breakthrough role on The Walking Dead Bernthal appeared on HBOís The Pacific, ABCís short-lived Eastwick, and he was Al Capone in Night At the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.
Snitch is set to start filming early next month in Louisiana.
