Wreck-It Ralph Images Show Off The Multiple Video Game Worlds
I got to see a lot of great footage from a lot of awesome movies last summer at the Disney convention D23, but some of the best stuff I saw was from the upcoming animated film Wreck-It Ralph. Set in the video game world, the movie centers on a villain character (voice by John C. Reilly) who wants nothing more than to become a hero for once. Ralph is an ogre-ish character who destroys buildings in the eponymous game, but that's not the only game featured in the movie. As revealed at D23 (which you can read about more in my report), the movie also includes two titles called Sugar Rush (a racing game set in a world made of desserts) and Hero's Duty (a space marine adventure). Today CineHeroes has revealed the first look at all three.
You can look at the new images below and head over to CineHeroes to see them full size. It should be noted that Wreck It-Ralph is actually an 8-bit arcade game, and doesn't look like what's presented below. Instead, the image simply shows Ralph's perspective as he looks at one of the buildings he failed to knock down from his home in the garbage dump. I haven't labeled the images simply because I expect that you're all smart enough to figure out which one is which.
Directed by Rich Moore, Wreck-It Ralph also stars Jane Lynch, Jack McBrayer, and Sarah Silverman. The movie is currently in production and will arrive in theaters on November 12th. |
