The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Replaces Lily Rabe With Game Of Thrones' Gwendoline Christie
In the film, Christie will be playing Commander Lyme, a military leader out of District 2 and former Hunger Games victor who joins Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), Peeta (Josh Hutchinson) and the rest of the rebellion against President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and the leaders of Panem. In case you're wondering if Christie can play tough, I might recommend watching a few Game of Thrones clips.
Of Course The Hunger Games Has To Digitally Recreate Philip Seymour Hoffman In Mockingjay
Is it the best scenario? No. The best scenario would involve Hoffman finishing the work that he started on The Hunger Games movies, then moving on to countless more interesting and challenging roles. Sadly, that option’s no longer on the table.
The Hunger Games Will Need A Few Tricks To Finish Mockingjay Without Hoffman
"His performances in both [remaining] movies will be up to the best of his craft. We feel it will be a good tribute to him," a studio source said. Others added that digital tricks can be employed to cover up an actor’s absence, suggesting “you can have conversations where you’re not focusing on him but the people he’s talking to.”
Natalie Dormer Shaved Half Of Her Head For The Hunger Games: Mockingjay
Natalie Dormer has never been a woman who has trouble going for it. She’s done nudity, corsets and all sorts of general weirdness; so, it probably shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone that she’s willing to cut her hair for a role. In this case, she was apparently willing to shave her head, or at least half of it for both parts of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.
Spider-Man And Transformers Will Represent Hollywood During Super Bowl Ads
Films don’t get much bigger than Michael Bay’s Transformers franchise, and it’s no surprise Paramount will reveal the first footage from Transformers: Age of Extinction during the game. We’ll probably just see Optimus Prime getting his transformation on along with a couple of explosions, but I bet people go crazy over it.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Adds Prison Break's Robert Knepper
The actor is likely best known for his role as Theodore 'T-Bag' Bagwell on the Fox series Prison Break, but has also had his fair share of big screen roles in movies like Hitman, Transporter 3, Good Night, And Good Luck., and the Day The Earth Stood Still remake.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Set Photos Reveal A Battle Location
If you haven't read The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, these shots from the set of the movie version probably don't make much sense to you-- how does an old mill fit into this futuristic world in which kids fight each other in an arena? Fans of the book aren't exactly going to look at that building and immediately know where it fits in, but it's not hard to guess that, at some point in the battle for the future of Panem, Katniss Everdeen and other freedom fighters wind up paying a visit to this dilapidated spot
Julianne Moore Confirmed As President Coin In The Hunger Games: Mockingjay
In The Hunger Games and soon in Catching Fire, Donald Sutherland has created an indelible portrait of evil power as President Snow, the leader of a government so cruel that it keeps its people in check by sending children to fight to the death in the Hunger Games. But it's time for another person to take on a position of power and challenge Snow, so naturally that person is… Julianne Moore?

You may not recognize Ross unless you're a fan of the new 90210, on which he played Charlie Selby for nine episodes, or caught him as Kevin in Jeff Who Lives At Home, the kid whom Jason Segel's nutty character befriends thanks to what he believes is a sign from the universe. He's also Diana Ross's son, if you're into that kind of thing

Game Of Thrones' Natalie Dormer Is Cressida In The Hunger Games: Mockingjay
Only a handful of characters are left to be added to the Hunger Games films, as the third book in the series-- and what will be the third and fourth movies-- Mockingjay reduces the cast of characters drastically and only adds a few new characters to the mix. Now one more of them has been confirmed, and fans of other fantasy worlds will probably recognize her

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay To Be Split In Two, Release Dates Announced
It's suddenly become commonplace for film franchises based on young adult novel series to split the last adaptation into two features. It began a couple years ago with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I and Part II and most recently there is The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I and Part II.
