Tonight is Halloween, and if you're diligent and prepared, you've long since planned your costume and may have even worn it out on Saturday night. If you're more like many of us, you are now scrambling to come up with something to wear when kids knock on your door asking for candy. If you read this site regularly you may be considering going with a movie-related costume
Well, folks, that's a wrap. The doors of the San Diego Convention Center have closed as yet another year of Comic Con has ended. We laughed, we cried, we waited on really long lines, but it was all for a good cause: covering the hell out of the event so all of you readers could feel like you were right there with us. The entire Cinema Blend team has returned to their respective parts of the world, but we're not quite done with Comic Con just yet.
I decided that I would find and take pictures of all Spider-Men that I could find, which joyusly lead me to a bunch of kids who were at Comic Con because they are fans of Spider-Man. Yes. I was happy
Highlights from day 2: Female slasher villains, smoking Gambit, a Fandango bag that almost got trampled, Earthworm Jim, a dog dressed as a biker on a tiny remote control motorcycle, an awesome Wolverine, an Axe Cop family, Apocalypse meeting the Dark Phoenix, He-Man sword check, Sherlock (Cumberbatch style), Coors Light Gladiator, Deadpool and the Iron Spider, and a TON of DC heroes and villains.
I woke up this morning with no idea of what Con was going to be, and now I have a better idea of what Con is going to be, but feel a little bad for being semi-attracted to an underage Pikachu (you'll see - why'd she have to make a cute face?)
San Diego Comic Con kicks off it's 2012 exhibition with Wednesday's preview night. Of course, that's not going to stop our favorite type of fans from going all out for the first night.
