Watch Tom Holland Burn His Infinity War Script

Marvel's Phase 3 slate of films has already seen the introduction of a ton of great characters. From Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther to Benedict Cumberbatch's Stephen Strange; they are all fantastic additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, few of them can compare to an icon like Spider-Man. Tom Holland has already proven that he was born to play the role of Peter Parker, but it turns out that he is not very good at following rules. Holland never turned in his script for The Avengers: Infinity War, and he recently posted a video of himself burning the screenplay to make sure nobody gets his or her hands on it. Check it out below to see for yourself.

If you are a Marvel fan, then you probably recoiled in anger when you saw that script go into the fire. I know I did. As Tom Holland points out in that Instagram video: you are supposed to turn in the script when you finish reading it and catching up on the story, but he failed to do that. In order to preserve the potential spoilers that lie within the pages of that sacred text, Holland dumped the script into a fire -- thus ensuring that we will not know what truly happens in The Avengers: Infinity War until the film hits theaters.

We cannot even begin to stress the importance of preserving the spoilers in The Avengers: Infinity War. While nobody likes Marvel spoilers to begin with, it is somewhat easier to deal with them when they leak from a more insulated solo movie. However, Infinity War is the culmination of every single Marvel story that has taken place since the franchise began with Iron Man all the way back in 2008. Everything is tied together in this grand Marvel epic, and a single spoiler could potentially reverberate through the entire film and tip all of the movie's secrets. We are dying to know what happens in this massive Marvel movie, but it is unquestionably a good thing to see Tom Holland responsibly dispose of his script like a professional. That's a good Spider-Man; we're sure Tony Stark is very proud of you for doing that right now.

We will keep you posted regarding any and all relevant details pertaining to Tom Holland's involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as more information is made available to us. The young actor will make his next appearance in the MCU when Spider-Man: Homecoming debuts on July 7, 2017. The Avengers: Infinity War will blast its way into theaters next year on May 4, 2018.
