How Gal Gadot Wished Her Justice League Director Zack Snyder A Happy Birthday

Despite a series of hiccups and polarizing creative decisions, the DCEU appears to have found its footing as a dominant force in the Hollywood landscape. Much of this is thanks to the work done by Zack Snyder, as Man of Steel and Batman v Superman blazed the trail for other DC films to enter the fray. The actors who inhabit this universe seem to enjoy the Justice League director's work, and Gal Gadot even took to social media to wish him a happy birthday earlier this week. Check out her post below to see for yourself.

Gal Gadot posted that photo yesterday to celebrate Zack Snyder's birthday (he turned 51 years old on March 1), and I think it's safe to say that we're all insanely jealous of the Justice League director. Who wouldn't want to receive a birthday wish from Wonder Woman? Although we cannot make out any definitive plot details (and believe me, we looked), the image sells how focused they were when it came to working together to make Justice League as good as possible.

One idea that this photo certainly echoes is the fact that the people who work alongside Zack Snyder in the DCEU seem to have deep respect for him. Although he has proved polarizing among fans for his work in the silver screen DC universe (to the point where fans tried to remove him from Justice League altogether), the fact of the matter is that people who collaborate with him have nothing but good things to say.

Of course, following all of the controversy surrounding films like Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we will have to wait and see how involved Zack Snyder is in the future of the DCEU. Even with the support of his actors and crew, the fact of the matter is that his work has become quite divisive. Now that Matt Reeves has signed on to helm the solo Batman movie (and his creative control over the future of the DC Universe seems pretty staggering), the extent of Snyder's involvement in the coming DC films remains somewhat unclear. The success of Justice League will likely determine whether or not he continues in this comic book world. No pressure, right?

Gal Gadot will take center stage as Diana Prince when Wonder Woman hits theaters later this summer on June 2. She will join the rest of the DC heroes when Zack Snyder's Justice League hits theaters on November 17. Stay tuned for more awesome DC updates!
