The New Unforgettable Trailer Is All About A Cat Fight Between Katherine Heigl And Rosario Dawson

Katherine Heigl's TV time didn't get off to a great start this year since her CBS series Doubt was cancelled after only two episodes, but fortunately for her, she has a few big screen projects that will help even the scales a little bit. Heigl's next movie, Unforgettable, hits theaters later this month, and Warner Bros has released a final trailer for the thriller that highlights the conflict between Heigl and Rosario Dawson, and rest assured, this cat fight of theirs spirals way out of control.

If there's one takeaway after watching this latest Unforgettable trailer, it's that you don't cross Katherine Heigl on any family-related matters. Surely I'm not the only one who thinks this movie looks like it would be a good fit for the Lifetime network. Despite all the time Rosario Dawson has been spending in the Netflix side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Claire Temple's experiences won't have rubbed off on her Unforgettable character, and while the clash between and Heigl will originally start out as one-sided mind games, the very end of this preview shows that eventually it will escalate into a full-on brawl. At least Dawson seems to have the upper hand in that final shot, but I sincerely doubt Unforgettable will end without blood spilling and maybe even a body dropping.

Unforgettable stars Katherine Heigl as Tessa Connover, who is still getting over the end of her marriage with Geoff Stults' David. When David gets engaged to Rosario Dawson's Julia Banks, something in Tessa clearly snaps. While Julia is doing her best to live a happy life with David and be a good stepmother to his and Tessa's daughter Lily (played by Isabella Rice), Tessa's jealously won't let Julia live a comfortable life. The psychological warfare starts with Tessa making David think that Julia is having an affair, and it only gets worse from there. Even Lilly isn't safe from Tessa's fury, s the latter is determined that her daughter not forget who her "real" mother is. The movie's cast also includes Cheryl Ladd, Whitney Cummings, Simon Kassianides and Robert Wisdom. This will be Heigl's first movie since the 2015 indie Jenny's Wedding, while in addition to her Marvel Netflix work, Dawson can currently be heard as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The LEGO Batman Movie.

Directed by Denise Di Novi (this being her directorial debut) and written by Christina Hodson and David Leslie Johnson, Unforgettable will be released in theaters on Friday, April 21, and make sure to check out our 2017 schedule to learn when this year's biggest movies are coming out.
