Donald Glover Is Rocking A Mustache As Lando In The Han Solo Movie, And It's Great

While everybody is looking forward to seeing Alden Ehrenreich play a young Han Solo, he doesn't have the sweet mustache that Donald Glover is rocking playing Lando Calrissian. The still untitled Han Solo movie is currently in production and they're apparently in Spain right now, as that's where Woody Harrelson snapped a picture of himself and his co-star, who has the world's greatest Billy Dee Williams mustache not worn by Billy Dee Williams. Would you buy a malt liquor from this man?

It's actually difficult to decide what really makes this picture. Is it the mustache that we assume Donald Glover will be sporting in his role as the young Lando Calrissian or is it the awesome Donald Duck jacket that he's wearing along with it? We're sure Disney is excited that Glover is staying on brand. It's difficult to pull off the suavely sophisticated thing that Donald Glover is going for when you're covered in Donald Duck, and yet, here we are.

While the Han Solo movie that tells us the character's story prior to his introduction in Star Wars: A New Hope has been on the Lucasfilm drawing board since almost as soon as Disney bought the company, we know little about the movie itself. Woody Harrelson, who posted the great picture to Instagram, will be playing the role of Han Solo's mentor, though how closely he will resemble previous versions of that character remains to be seen. While we haven't seen any pictures of Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, we've seen his hairstyle recently and it certainly look on point to play 1977-era Harrison Ford. Now combined with Donald Glover's mustache, the hair stylist on this movie may need an Oscar. Compare Glover above to the real deal of Billy Dee Williams below.

Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian

We're certainly looking forward to seeing Donald Glover bring Lando back to the big screen. From things the actor has said it sounds like this version of Lando won't be quite the smooth operator we see in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, but it's clear he'll certainly look that way. The Han Solo movie has a unique challenge because it will be the first time that we've seen new actor interpreting classic Star Wars characters in the new world of Star Wars. There will certainly be a lot of pressure on them to get it right. We'll find out how well they do when the Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Anthology film arrives next summer.
