Attack The Block Gets A Red Band Trailer

As a film critic/journalist living in Los Angeles, I get to go to and see a lot of really amazing things, but there is something I feel as though I am truly missing out on: Attack The Block. Practically every metropolitan critic that I know (including our own Katey Rich) has seen the British action comedy and has left the theater absolutely raving about it. I'm hoping that I'll get the chance to see the film in the near future - it's playing at the Los Angeles Film Festival, which I will be covering - but if not, from the looks of the new Red Band trailer July 29 can't get here soon enough.

Trailer Addict has posted the age restricted ad and it has only succeeded in getting me more amped for the film. Directed by Joe Cornish and produced by Edgar Wright, the film is about a gang in South London who are forced to fend off an alien invasion all by themselves. The cast is largely made up of young British actors, but you'll most likely recognize Nick Frost as Ron, the local weed dealer.
