New Wrath Of The Titans Trailer Charges Online

I expressed this sentiment when new posters for the Jonathan Liebesman-directed Wrath of the Titans arrived online earlier this month, but it remains surprising how few marketing materials we've seen for the Clash of the Titans. Other than the posters and banners, all we've really seen from the movie is the one trailer that arrived back in December (unlike many of the other major blockbusters coming out this year, the movie didn't even have a Super Bowl spot). While the first film was a hit at the box office - bringing in nearly $500 million worldwide - one has to imagine that the sequel won't be able to fly into theaters and be a success without a bigger advertising push. There is still more than a full month before the title comes out, though, and Warner Bros. has used that time to release a brand new trailer.

Check out the trailer below and head over to Apple to see it in HD.

Set a decade after the events of the first film, Perseus (Sam Worthington) has settled into a normal life as a fisherman and a father. But when Hades (Ralph Fiennes) teams up with Ares (Edgar Ramirez) to imprison Zeus (Liam Neeson) and free the titans, Perseus realizes that he can no longer ignore his true calling. Teaming with Queen Andromeda (Rosamond Pike), Poseidon’s demigod son, Argenor (Tony Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), the hero ventures into Hades to rescue the king of the gods, stop the titans and save the world. Wrath of the Titans is due out on March 30th and you can see more from the film in our Blend Film Database.
