New Rock Of Ages Trailer Is Here To Play All Of Your Favorite '80s Hits

While I'm not a huge fan of musicals in general, I will say that Rock of Ages, the newest film from director Adam Shankman, does have some advantage. While a musical can suffer from terrible performances, a stupid story, and bad music, this new film at least won't suffer from the last item of that list. Everything in Rock of Ages could go terribly, terribly wrong and it could be an awful movie, but at the very least you'll get to spend 90-120 minuets listening to some good music from the 80s.

The newest trailer for the movie, due out on June 15th, has arrived online. You can watch it below and head over to Apple to see it in high def.

Based on the musical by Chris D'Arienzo, Rock of Ages is about two young people, Drew and Sherrie (Diego Boneta and Julianne Hough), who travel to the big city in 1987 looking to live out their musical dreams. Upon meeting they instantly fall in love and have to deal with consequences and the challenges that come with it. The film also stars Tom Cruise, Malin Akerman, Bryan Cranston, Paul Giamatti, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Will Forte, Mary J. Blige, and Kevin Nash.
