The Soup Parodies The Dark Knight Rises With Bane's True Hollywood Story

Joel McHale and the crew on The Soup have been on a roll lately with their movie parodies. The shot by shot parody of the "Happy Birthday, David" viral video for Prometheus is still pretty unbeatable, but I also got a kick out of this latest video, in which "True Hollywood Story" investigates the humble origins of the villain from The Dark Knight Rises: Bane. Turns out, his father might not actually be his biological father, but we can still blame that jerk for everything that happened anyway.

This isn't quite the strong performance that McHale gave in the David video, but this whole thing is a lot sillier, and since The Dark Knight Rises doesn't have a lot of its own humor, we could use that kind of silliness right now. This is surely only the tip of the Dark Knight Rises parody iceberg, and once everyone has gotten a chance to see the movie, I'm looking forward to YouTube users and comedians alike bringing out their best takes on this last look at Gotham. If nothing else, I'm hoping the Internet provides many, many more images of people and things with the Bane mask photoshopped on them, because they're proof that absolutely nobody but Tom Hardy can pull that off.

Have you guys caught any other excellent Dark Knight Rises parody videos? Has anyone out there in the world managed to perfect the crazy Bane voice? Let us know in the comments below.
