The Simpsons Movie Gets Blended
By Rafe Telsch: 2008-04-09 21:59:33
We’ve finally done it. The cast of the Weekly Blend Audio Show recorded a commentary track. We sat down and watched The Simpsons movie and now you can come along for the ride with our first downloadable commentary track.
How does this work, you ask? It’s easy. You download the commentary track, then load it onto whatever you listen to mp3 files on. Put a copy of The Simpsons Movie in your DVD player, press play on the commentary track, and then press play on the DVD when we tell you to. Voila! Through the magic of microphones, studio recording equipment, the internet, bandwidth, and whatever you’re using to play the file, it’s like we’re sitting right there with you, babbling along while you try to enjoy your movie.
Don’t mistake the fact that we’ve recorded a commentary for the idea that we have anything to do with The Simpsons Movie. We didn’t make it. We didn’t contribute in the least. We’re just fans… well, two of us are at least. Enjoy Margaret grumbling about the movie, Rafe trying to make it look like he knows something, and some of Tim’s bad impressions as you watch Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge, and Spider-pig.. oh, Maggie’s in there too somewhere.
