James Van Der Beek is having a pretty good spring. Not only did his pilot, Don’t Trust The B---- In Apartment 13, finally get picked up, but now he and his wife, Kimberly, have had their second child. This time around, it’s all snips and snails and puppy-dog tails for the happy couple, who have just had their first boy.
Although Van Der Beek has not spoken out yet about his little son’s name, he did take to Twitter to profess a few of his incredible feelings about being a parent for a second time.
“Had my first son this morning… well, actually, my wife had him. I just caught him. Wow. Heart expanding way faster than my brain.”
Speaking of the actor's upcoming sitcom, co-star Krysten Ritter had some nice things to say about the new baby boy too.
“So happy for my friend and fabulous costar @vanderjames on the new addition to his family. Welcome baby boy Van Der Beek!!”
The new baby joins the couples’ other child, a daughter, Olivia, who is just 17 months old. With all of these changes on Van Der Beek’s forefront, it will likely take him a bit to balance his schedule properly. Regardless of how long it takes, Pop Blend wishes him and his family the best over the next few months.
