Caleb Followill And Lily Aldridge Welcome A Daughter

Over the years, the members of Kings of Leon have had their fair share of problems. From excessive drinking to simply walking off stage, the four Followill’s haven’t always gotten along, but now, they all have reason to celebrate because a new member of the family has just been welcomed.

According to US Magazine, lead singer Caleb Followill’s wife Lily Aldridge gave birth to the couple’s first child on Thursday. The delivery took place at Vanderbilt University & Medical Center and by all accounts, went as swimmingly as he could be expected. The little girl’s name is Dixie Pearl, and she’s said to be healthy.

Aldridge is best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret. She and Followill married a little more than a year ago and have lived happily together ever since, at least when his touring schedule and her appearances don’t require one be away. Neither party has announced how much time they might take off in order to spend time with their new little girl, but one would think at least a slight shift in priorities would take place over the next few months.

Pop Blend sends out its sincerest congratulations to Lily, Caleb and the entire Followill crew. Family always comes first, and there are few things more exciting than meeting a new daughter/ niece. Here’s to hoping the bundle of joy has her mother’s looks and her father’s voice.
