Watch Kid Rock And Sean Penn Go Prius Shopping In Hilarious Political Unity Film

Kid Rock and Sean Penn may have different points of view when it comes to who they’d like to see win the upcoming presidential election, but that doesn’t mean they can’t still have a drink and play in the sand together. They’re Americans first and a Republican or Democrat second, and if the rest of us spent less time hating each other and more time listening, we might find some potential best friends across the aisle.

That’s the idea behind Kid Rock and Sean Penn’s hilarious new public service film Americans. The ten minute clip features the noted conservative and his liberal counterpart getting into a raucous fight over which candidate would fuck up the country more, only to rapidly switch courses and bond after being torn a new asshole by an immigrant. Take a look at the greatness below…

Warning: NSFW for a few swear words…

Bill Clinton touched on this same idea during his speech at the Democratic convention. It’s one thing to disagree with an opposing political party. It’s quite another to hope they fail in order to prove a point. Good for Kid Rock and Sean Penn for tackling this issue that’s not talked about enough. Good citizens are informed, knowledgable and willing to debate, but they are not so recklessly partisan that they lose sight of the fact we’re all Americans.

Fuck yeah.
