Edward Furlong Arrested At LAX For Felony Domestic Violence

American History X star Edward Furlong was arrested early this morning at the Los Angeles International Airport for what’s being described as a possible incident of domestic violence. Details are still fuzzy at this early hour, but apparently, the thirty-five-year-old stands accused of grabbing his girlfriend’s arm during a physical altercation inside Terminal 2.

When airport security arrived a short time later, it’s likely they found some serious bruises on that arm because Furlong was hauled off to the Los Angeles Police Department 77th Division Jail almost immediately. Once there, he was formally charged with felony domestic violence and remains behind bars on $50,000 bail.

Furlong has a long history of problems with the law. He’s been to rehab on numerous occasions. Earlier this year, he was involved in a strange incident in LA’s Skid Row, and a few years back, he was arrested for a horrific domestic violence altercation in which he was accused of smoking cocaine, bruising his now ex-wife and threatening to hire men to beat her up.

Furlong is a brilliant actor. He should be making incredible films and getting nominated for Academy Awards instead of adding more troubling run-ins with the police to his resume. Here’s to hoping he gets his life together sooner rather than later.
