Nick Stahl Busted For Allegedly Touching Himself In Adult Book Store

Nick Stahl’s rough 2012 got even rougher earlier this week after he was arrested for a pretty embarrassing offense, but at least his family knows where he is now. The incident in question happened yesterday at an adult bookstore in Hollywood, California. The actor was reportedly watching porn in a booth by himself when undercover officers allegedly saw Stahl touch himself.

According to TMZ, he was immediately hauled off to the police station and booked on a misdemeanor charge of committing a lewd act. After the paperwork was finished, he was released into the night. Because of the relatively small nature of his crime, it’s unclear whether local prosecutors will follow through with the case and actually charge him, but when they make their decision, we’ll keep you updated.

Stahl was once an extremely promising actor. He played a major role in Terminator 3, and his work in independent movies like Bully and Quid Pro Quo was widely praised. Unfortunately, he’s reportedly been battling substance abuse problems over the past few years, and over the summer, he went missing on two separate occasions. If he can ever get his act together long enough, he could once again emerge as a rising star.
