Evan Rachel Wood Is Expecting Her First Child

2012 was a pretty sweet year for Evan Rachel Wood. In addition to filming scenes for the upcoming films Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman, A Case Of You and Barefoot, the actress walked down the aisle and married her fiancé Jamie Bell in a beautiful California ceremony. Ordinarily, such events would be enough to make a girl want to slow down, but thanks to some exciting news, 2013 is setting up to be even more chaotic.

Wood is pregnant. Her representative confirmed the news this morning to US Magazine, and she later hit up Twitter to talk about ”Sweet Child O’Mine” by Guns N Roses, tweet out a photograph of What To Expect When You’re Expecting and let fans know they shouldn’t be mad at her over some recent statements.

”Remember when i said, "No baby on the way here" Well, I didnt know there actually was!”

Given all the baby rumors that have followed her for months, it’s understandable that she took to habitually denying without taking the time to wonder “what if” on each occasion. Besides, she’s not exactly a woman who is fanatical about keeping everything about her personal life a secret.

Pop Blend’s sincerest congratulations go out to Bell and Wood. They might still be getting used to the idea of being married, but something tells me the baby addition will be an even bigger change. Here’s to hoping the third member of the family brings the two even closer.
