Watch Bob Costas Rap Ludacris Lyrics

Major League Baseball may be a huge jerk when it comes to allowing baseball footage to be covered on sites like YouTube, but apparently Bob Costas rapping Ludacris lyrics is fair game. That’s right, the longtime sports talking head is into Ludacris and isn’t afraid to show it in front of thousands of people, sharing his sort-of affection for the track “Hip Hop Quotables” on MLB Now.

In the video, Costas tells MLB Now broadcasters Brian Kenny and Harold Reynolds he really appreciates Ludacris because the rapper was the first person to “namecheck” Costas in a song, also noting he doesn’t want to encourage namechecking behaviors in young kids. Oh that Bob Costas.

I wish we had gotten a full verse from the broadcaster or even separate rapping sessions from Reynolds or Kenny, but we did get the entire line shedding light on the namecheck, which is listed in full, below.

Now I roll up torpedoes, get blunted with rastas. For a hefty fee, I'm on your record like Bob Costas.”

Costas is an amusing guy and he has used his humor skills to his advantage, appearing in TV shows like Go On. He’s still at his best when he is spitballing random stuff, like Ludacris lyrics, off the cuff, however. If you get a chance, make sure you watch the video at the top of the page.
