Suzanne Somers, 66, Claims She Has Sex With Her Husband Twice A Day

Miley Cyrus might think people stop having sex at forty-years-old, but scientific research says otherwise, as does Suzanne Somers. The former Three’s Company actress, who was quite the quite the sex symbol back in the day, appeared on The Talk on Tuesday and opened up about her apparently vigorous sex life.

During the chat, the sixty-six-year-old actress told the hosts she has sex with her seventy-seven-year-old husband Alan Hamel a couple times a day. Here’s a portion of the actual quote, as per People

”He's on hormones and I'm on hormones. I’m going to be so sorry I said that. What is it about men at four in the morning? And then I'm really awake around eight or so. We have busy mornings."

Having sex twice a day with someone you’ve been married to for more than thirty-five years is an incredible feat, though it sounds suspiciously like an exaggeration. Even married couples with vigorous sex lives tend to shoot for once a day, twice if they’re feeling especially frisky. Besides, Somers has every reason for people to believe she’s as young and vigorous as possible, and it all has to do with the aforementioned hormones.

After her career as an actress died down, Somers got very into new age medicine and wrote a series of books about bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She’s a fierce advocate of such procedures, especially the Wiley protocol and has credited it with keeping her looking and feeling young. The scientific community, however, isn’t exactly sold. In the past, she’s admitted to taking dozens of pills every single day and even getting vaginal injections. We know for a fact she used stem cells for her breast reconstruction surgery too. Maybe all of it works. More than likely, a little of it works, most of it doesn’t and the confidence from thinking it works actively pushes her to exercise and engage in young behaviors—like banging her husband every day.

Regardless of all these medical concerns, hopefully Somers really does have an active sex life that keeps her physically and emotionally close with her longtime husband.
