Are You Bored Of Lady Gaga's Frequent Nudity?

Did you hear about Lady Gaga? She got naked. No, I’m not talking about in that bizarre Kickstarter campaign video. No, I’m not talking about in that ARTPOP promo either. She got naked on stage yesterday while performing at G-A-Y Nightclub in London over the weekend.

You can check out the picture below, courtesy of Haus ARTPOP It’s NSFW-ish…

Ordinarily, showing a little skin is the quickest way for a pop star to get attention. Whether shock, outrage or elation, baring a little bit more can produce some pretty aggressive reactions. Miley Cyrus could tell you that better than anyone. Once upon a time, Lady Gaga could have too, but for whatever reason, this disrobing has led many to discuss not her hotness or her perceived immorality but instead the relative snooze-fest of seeing her body again.

On the one hand, it’s easy to see where the complainers are coming from. Part of the reason why a celebrity disrobing is so exciting is because it’s something we’ve never seen before. It’s random. It’s out of the blue. It’s a change in image, but at this point in time, it kinda feels like Lady Gaga’s entire image does involve nudity. At this moment, the avatar on her Twitter account is actually a lady (maybe her?) in her thong.

On the other hand, however, it’s hard to criticize the Mother Monster for essentially continuing to do the same sorts of things she’s always been doing. In fact, it seems like people are more irritated that the last few songs she’s released haven’t been as exciting as the ones off her first few albums and are fixating on this nudity thing as a way to vent their frustrations that she’s over. It could well just take one hit for her to turn things around.

What do you think? Are you bored of Gaga’s nudity? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
