Tupac Shakur Apparently Used His Last Words To Tell Off A Cop

Legendary rapper Tupac Shakur is known as a man who did things his own way. He lived life on his own terms and never apologized for that. If the word of a police officer who was with him at the end is to be believed, he was a rebel down to his very last moment.

Former Las Vegas Metropolitan PD officer Chris Carroll recently sat down with Vegas Seven for an in-depth interview about Tupac’s murder. He was on duty as a bike cop that night and apparently was one of the first officers on the scene following the shooting. He claims he approached the vehicle, driven by Suge Knight, with his gun drawn and asked everyone to get on the ground. When he opened the door, Tupac fell into his arms and was clearly injured very badly. So, he pulled him out of the car and started asking, “Who shot you?”

At first, Pac was unresponsive and in his own little world, but at some point, he allegedly came to life, took a deep breath and uttered his final words.

”Fuck you.”

It’s unclear why Carroll would want to lie about something like that. It’s not exactly like it paints him in a heroic light, but given the length of time between when this supposedly happened and when it went public, it makes sense that people would be a little skeptical. That being said, I’m going to choose to believe it because it makes Tupac sound like an impulsive badass, which seems like the reputation he was going for.

Almost twenty years after Tupac Shakur was gunned down in Las Vegas following Mike Tyson’s TKO of Bruce Seldon, the case remains one of the most widely discussed unsolved homicides of all-time. There are some who think the shooting was retaliation for a fight that happened in the lobby of the MGM Grand just hours earlier. There are others who think it was fallout from a larger rap or gang war that had been brewing for years. At this point, we may never know for sure. If this story is to be believed, maybe that’s the way Tupac wanted it anyway.
