This Wedding Proposal Sets The Bar For Guys Everywhere

If you’re a guy and you’re thinking of proposing to your significant other, DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO. It will raise the bar so much more than you were planning and make you realize you did not put enough time into what you wanted to do. This guy really had everything play out in his favor when so many things could have gone wrong. Let's talk about how lucky he is.

For one he’s extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to visit 26 countries. Second he’s lucky to have found a girl that’s willing and able to travel around the world with him for four years. That’s a huge commitment to make to another individual and has to be really taxing on your life. You are basically visiting 6 places a year which has to put some activities you have going on back home on a definite hold.

Does anyone else think Jack’s now fiance would’ve headed for the hills if she had read his first journal entry after their first date? Probably not because they had to ship off to some native country immediately after. The more I think about how this all could’ve fallen apart over four years time, the more impressed I am that he pulled it off. Even though this isn’t a full out marriage proposal over 26 countries, but rather a proposal following a lip dub, I’ll still give it to them.

Marriage proposals can be tricky. It’s hard to play them out like they do in the movies. When you’re planning something elaborate, it’s hard to not let on something is up when everyone has a camera. There’s always that weird situation as to whether you do or don’t want family there for a moment that will be the most meaningful to the two of you. Plus, there’s the headache of finding a ring size without coming right out and asking what size ring they wear. I guess the moral of the story I’m trying to get at is marriage proposals are much more difficult than working up the courage to do it, so if you are going to do it make sure you are prepared.
